Canton- Linda D. Vacca, 70, of Canton and formerly of Lewistown passed away at Graham Hospital emergency room at 12:56 PM Monday November 4, 2019.

She was born July 6, 1949 at Canton the daughter of Jack J. and Betty (Tometich) Vacca. Linda never married. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Michael and Richard Vacca. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Linda worked in bookkeeping at Mid America National Bank in Canton for 40 years. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. David. She enjoyed jig saw puzzles, crocheting, watching TV and shopping. She made many beautiful afghan’s for her family.  Linda always enjoyed activities in the community room at Spoon River Towers in Lewistown.

Cremation will be accorded. The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Catholic Church or Spoon River Towers Activity Fund. Online condolences may be made at henrylange.com.

My deepest condolences to Linda's family. We attended the same same school LCHS she was year behind me but shared a few classes. Later, I worked with Linda at National Bank of Canton. She was really nice to everyone and funny. Lorenda Spilker

I’m so sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I worked with her at the bank for many years. It was great that she was able to go on a few bus trips years ago.

My sympathies to the family of Linda, a fellow St. Davidite.  My sister, now deceased, went to school with Linda.  Prayers for comfort.
