Judge Wilhelm was a great judge and a wonderful man.  It was a true pleasure to have known him and to appear in his courtroom as a lawyer on cases.  I moved to Fulton County right out of law school to be an Assistant State's Attorney (1992-1995). I learned many hard lessons in his courtroom on how to handle and try cases.  He was a great teacher.  At the time, he signed my newly minted bar admission certificate which proudly hangs on my wall today. I also have another picture on my wall of Judge Wilhelm standing next to me in his courtroom.  I thank Judge Wilhelm for the many great memories and his kindness to me.  I am very sorry to hear of his loss and my thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.

Dear Connie and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's loss.  I well remember when you were married and he joined my father's law practice making it Proctor and Wilhelm.  Those were good times.  Charlie and his father were so kind to invite me to keep my horse at their place and they both helped me-and her-with a lot of "horse sense."  I know that you all have lots of special memories to treasure as do I and those will be a comfort to you.  With sympathy and great affection, Sarah Jane Moore

To  Connie and family:   In my 51 years of law practice, Charlie was one of my favorite lawyers and judges.  As a lawyer, he was honest and straightforward.   As a judge, he was approachable and always listened and decided each case fairly.   If you needed an explanation, he would give it to you and you always knew it was fair.   As a person, I really enjoyed just being able to bs with him about life.  We shared many stories about drainage law, digging ditches and operation of heavy equipment.  I am sorry for your loss and know you all have learned much from his wisdom and will miss him dearly.

Connie and Family,
I was very saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. We worked together as lawyers and then as fellow judges for many years. Charlie was an excellent trial judge and always kept current on the latest case law. I enjoyed our friendship, not only in the field of law but also with our shared joy of country living. I will miss his insight and his humor. Your family will be in our thoughts.
