No words can ever say how much we loved Grandpa Jim. We came to know all of you when you moved next to us on Halsey. He was like a dad to me and a grandpa to our son. I will always remember  the way he made us feel part of your family. We have some great memories that we will always cherish and when his name will be mentioned in the future, I will always remember the love.  Patti - Kendall- Keaten

We are so sorry for your loss. We thought the world of Sam . I always enjoyed his company the few times we got to talk at family functions.  His strong faith was obvious and he's at peace in the presence of the Lord.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I still have fond memories of visiting your house/farm as a child when you lived on the edge of town and Jim was a big part of that. He was one of the kindest people I have every met. Michelle and I send our deepest sympathies. After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us.

Very sorry to hear of Jim passing.  I will miss him and all the laughs we had over the years.
I loved the holidays, birthdays and special events that we got to share over the years as well.
Just a little over a week ago we had a chance to have lunch at the church to celebrate my sister Threasa and Jeff's renewal of their vows. Jim gave me a big hug and whispered in my ear, " did you bring me some more hot pickles that you made"? I laughed and said darn it i
should have!, next time though! Well Jim, i will always think of you when i do gardening. You will be missed
