I worked at TP&W with Bill during the 70's and early 80's.  Always a pleasure to work together.  Almost went "hogging" with Bill.  I chickened out.  Bill was one of the happiest and nicest people I have ever met.  He was a dandy.   One of the good men.  Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Grew up with, went to school with, and worked for the TP&W/SANTAFE with Bill.  We always enjoyed ourselves, when were together..  Hope he finds peace with his maker and the Lord blesses his family and friends and leaves all of us to remember him as a good man and brave Veteran.

Many years ago when Bill and Andrea lived across the street from us on Arnold Avenue in East Peoria, Bill came to my aid. My husband, Dan, was at work, and I discovered a very large snapping turtle on our driveway. How it got there I have no idea. Bill was at home, so I called him over and he rescued me and the turtle! He took it to a safe place, the Illinois River. I have never forgotten that. Andrea and Bill were great neighbors, and you could always rely on Bill to get you out of a pinch. Even though we didn't see them often after they moved, we would still occasionally keep in touch. We will miss him.

Bill was our neighbor for many years.  He always had a smile for us as we would pass him on the road often walking with one of his grandchildren.  Sending our love to you all.  Bill will be missed.  He was a good man with a big heart.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers. ??
